So it's Sunday today, and I try and do a big clean of my appt. on Sundays. I'm at the bathroom stage, ready to empty the garbage in the bathroom. This garbage is always pretty benign. Today mine has: a wrapper from a bar of soap, an empty kleenex box, empty toothpaste, a band aid wrapper (injury from the river), dental floss, a spent tooth brush, and a toilet paper roll. I usually would just throw out this garbage without a second look. Today though, because I am an environmentalist with a blog and everything (lol), I took a harder look at this garbage and I found out that almost everything in this garbage in recyclable. All these years, it's gone right in the garbage, but today I realized that it can be sorted and recycled.
So, today I'm incorporating this into my Sunday clean.
